Red Bull Air Race 2008 - London
Was at the Red Bull Air Race 2008, which was held in London earlier this year. Will be doing a short write up about that tomorrow. Watch out for it.

I love minicoopers! :)
Hey...I thought you guys outlawed Red Bull. Cute car though. :-)
Small car, but SO much personality!!! :)
I was down near the Isle Of Dogs on that day and saw them practising..
I am so jealous! My wife and I watch the air races on TV. It is amazing how fast and accurate they fly. I look forward to reading about your experiences:)
MBL,
you & zaini have the same taste. :-)
@my bug life,
If I were to get a car, a mini would probably be my top choice. For those who think that the Mini is for ladies, take a look at how Mark Walberg handled his in The Italian Job.
@Jacqueline,
Really? I didn't know that. I just saw the guy next to me calmly sipping a Red Bull while sitting beside me in the Tube this morning. I always thought that Red Bull is the European 'wake up' drink of choice. I heard that it's quite popular with Thais as well.
@daria369,
Wrote a post about how much the Cooper is loved by Britons awhile back. Do check it out. I'm shamelss, aren't I?
@ladybanana,
I caught them somewhere further down the river last year. Nearly strained my neck trying to catch a glimpse of the action. Did you have your camera with you then?
@tahtimbo,
Hey, thanks for stopping by. Hmm, but I believe you get a clearer view on the tv. The grandstand allows only a limited viewing and the circuit is a couple of hundred of metres along Thames so you don't actually get to see the entire tract. Perhaps I'll stay home to catch it on tv the next time round.
@lina,
MBL? The car sure gives new meaning to … "Red Bull gives you wings…!"
